Striving for Excellence Awards

The League of Friends has given additional support to local health services for over 60 years and we’re proud of our association with Salisbury District Hospital, its services and the staff that make the hospital what it is today. All of the projects we fund are aimed at improving the wellbeing of patients and visitors to Salisbury District Hospital so it is fitting that we should sponsor an event that recognises the staff who deliver the care that achieves this. There is a link between the professionalism and commitment of NHS staff and the quality of care they give to patients and we are delighted to be able to support these awards and acknowledge all that they do for our local health service.

Customer Care award public nominations

This year's Striving for Excellence Awards will take place at the Salisbury Racecourse on the afternoon and evening of Friday 2nd February 2018. The League of Friends Customer Care Award is decided by members of public who vote for an individual or team whose care or kindness leaves a positive impression on patients. It is an ideal opportunity for the public to recognise the contribution that NHS staff have made to patients or other members of staff. Voting for this year's award has now closed, but please check back here soon for details of those shortlisted for 2017-18.
